Our Leadership

  • Daphne Glenn, MPT, MBA, MHSA, MAALS, LNHA, Chief Executive Officer Daphne joined TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital in 2017 with more than 20 years of clinical and leadership experience, spanning the continuum of care. While most of her career has been in Cincinnati, she also lived in England for seven years and worked in the National Health System. Daphne is a licensed physical therapist and holds post-graduate degrees in business, health services administration, nursing home administration and advanced leadership studies from Emory University. She has a special interest in building engaged teams that are focused on the patient experience and culture change.

    Tom Fazio, Director of Business Development
    Tom joined the TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital team with more than 22 years of leadership experience in inpatient rehabilitation and the pharmaceutical industry. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Wittenberg University. Prior to joining TriHealth, Tom successfully opened an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Cincinnati. As a manager, his strong leadership has resulted in two “Manager of the Year” awards and three “District of the Year” awards.

    Kimberly Brown, R.N., BSN, MHA, Director of Quality Management
    Kimberly began her health care career in the surrounding Cincinnati area in 1982 specializing mainly in critical care nursing for more than 17 years and expanded her role in 2000 to quality care management for Mercy Health (formerly Catholic Health Partners). Kimberly has a master’s degree in health care administration from Ohio University and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. She has completed various business management studies at University of Cincinnati and recently studied business process improvement initiatives from Ohio State Fisher College.

    Virna-Liza Cervantes-Miller, R.N., MSN/HCM, MBA, Chief Nursing Officer
    Virna is a registered nurse with more than 28 years of experience in a variety of acute and post-acute settings. Some of these settings include medical-surgical units, emergency, quality management, home health care and inpatient rehabilitation. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and her master’s degree in nursing/health care management and business administration (MBA) from the University of Cincinnati. Virna is also a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.

    Jerry Kussman, RPh, Director of Pharmacy
    Jerry joined TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital with three decades of experience as a hospital pharmacist. A graduate of Ohio Northern University, Jerry has been a pharmacy director in post-acute care hospitals for 12 years and in Select Medical Corporation’s long-term acute care division for the last seven years. He brings his experience in medication management as well as expertise in nutritional support, anticoagulation therapy and pharmacokinetic dosing to the TriHealth team.

    Neil Fedders, OT/L, Director of Rehabilitation
    Neil joined TriHealth Rehabilitation hospital in July 2018 and has been a health care change agent since 2000. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Eastern Kentucky University and a master’s degree in executive leadership and organizational change from Northern Kentucky University. He is a licensed occupational therapist with a strong emphasis on patient experience and organizational change. Neil was a speaker at the national client conference for Press Ganey and was published in the HealthCare Executive journal – both of which focused on patient experience and operational excellence. His health care leadership experience includes acute care, long term acute care, outpatient services and rehabilitation operations.

    Rebekah Briner, Manager of Human Resources
    Rebekah Briner joined the TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital team in July 2018. Prior to joining the team, she worked in human resources (HR) at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for seven years in a variety of roles. Her responsibilities included management of contingent workers, safety and surveillance program management, employee resource group leadership, project management and employee relations work. In 2016, Rebekah expanded her HR expertise through a year-long internship with the Human Innovation group at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), creating a curriculum for NASA’s new hires designed to onboard staff in a way that promotes creativity and collaboration. Rebekah continues to develop her skills and passion for HR in her current role.
